Anna Zafirson grew up in Portland, Maine, and is fulfilling her dream of becoming a children’s author. She travels to California every chance she gets to be with her three grandchildren. Anna resides in Saco, Maine, with her husband, and although she isn’t a true seagull fan, she has made an exception for Jerry!

Olivia Ryder is an illustrator and graphic designer. She has contributed numerous illustrations to lifestyle publications around the state of Maine. As a lifelong creative, when she isn’t outside hiking or gardening, she spends most of her downtime drawing and dabbling in photography. Olivia resides in Brunswick, Maine.
