A.B.Zamolodchikov is a Russian physicist, well known for his contributions to conformal field theory, statistical mechanics and also string theory and condensed matter physics. He has received many prizes and awards including the the Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics in 2024, for his work in quantum field theories. He is currently Professor at Stony Brook University, USA.
