Sara Frautten

Sara Frautten was a special educator in grades K–12 and a kindergarten teacher for a total of thirty-three years. Her love of children and the process of learning led her to fulfill a dream of writing a children’s book. She lives in Winthrop, Maine, with her husband and her dog, Neli. She’s the mother of three grown sons and grandmother to Adalynn, Lillian, and Asher. She loves listening to the call of loons on Maranacook Lake and the cooing of mourning doves; boating, walking, and hiking trails in Maine; as well as day trips with family members to explore the many wonders of this beautiful state. Always take the scenic way and stop, look, and listen! Adalynn and Lillian live in Readfield, Maine, with their mom, dad, pet rabbit, Sugarloaf, and two dogs, Baylor and Sienna. They love nature, sports, playing outside, skiing, family trips, and having sleepovers with friends. They’re still thinking about what they want to be one day….
