Jean Arthur skis, hikes and bikes with her family and Labrador Retrievers from her home in Montana. She writes for Best Nordic Ski Great Escapes and other adventure-travel publications. Arthur’s books include the 2nd edition (to be released in 2024) of Top Trails: Glacier National Park: Must-Do Hikes for Everyone, a hiking and cultural guide to Glacier National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park; Timberline and a Century of Skiing on Mount Hood; and Hell- roaring: Fifty Years on The Big Mountain. Arthur also edits for other publications, including Exploring Montana’s Pioneer Mountains, and she is working on an open-source textbook chapter for graduate students in nursing doctorate and master’s degree programs.
